# Enable Changes Detection Capture (CDC) for Custom Entities

To synchronize your data efficiently, Stacksync must detect incremental changes, that is new, updated and deleted records, without repeatedly scanning entire tables. Stacksync’s change data capture (CDC) relies on the `Change Tracking` feature in Dynamics 365, which **you must enable for Custom entities** you plan to sync. The following section explains how to turn on change tracking so Stacksync can reliably capture those incremental updates.

**Standard entities** have change tracking **enabled by default,** no action required. This guide is only for **custom entities**.

1. Sign in to [Power Apps](https://make.powerapps.com/).
2. Expand **Dataverse**, and then select **Tables.**
3. Select a table, and then in **Table properties** select **Properties**.
4. In the Edit table page, expand **Advanced options.**
5. In the **For this table** section, enable the **Track Changes** checkbox.<br>

6. Select **Save.**
